Michael graduated from Sydney University of Technology, with a past life as a violinist. He has a diverse background in both architecture, design research, and sustainability/designing for circularity projects. Over the years, he has gained a broad array of experience in master planning, residential, multi-residential, independent living + aged care, hotels, workplace, defence, adaptive reuse, advanced fabrication & robotics projects. Michael also tutors at UTS, alongside Daniel.
Michael is passionate about elegant and intelligent design, the business of architecture, architectural history & theory, materiality, sustainable material practices, upcycling & circular economy, adaptive reuse, the intersection of computational processes and design... ‘Just being awesome and useful’, as he puts it:)
In his free time, Michael enjoys camping with his family - going on new adventures and discovering more of the incredible Australian landscape. He is currently working on restoration of a 12 year old 4WD ute!
